The First "Official" Swim of the Year

Yesterday the kids had been begging all day to swim. I finally went out at 3:00 to check the water temperature. I found it to be in the low 70's and finally agreed to watch the kids. After a long search for the deck key, I finally just picked the lock with a bobby pin...yep I'm good. When I finally got into the pool...it was COLD!! Eventually your body did become used to it, but it was a little nippy. We swam for a couple hours...but sadly my walking on my hands talent has diminished. Last summer my record was 25, yesterday I couldn't even get 2. *sigh* Enjoy the pictures! Ohh by the way, we did eventually find the key...it was in the dryer with Dad's shorts. ;)

    lol! I thought they were endearing Madalyn.

    As to Gabe's hand signs, from what I can tell he's doing the "rock out" sign. It's like the I-love-you in sign language, except you put your thumb over your bent fingers.
