Countdown: My Favorite Christmas Movies

For the sake of having nothing else to post, and getting into the Christmas mood, I am going to share my favorite Christmas movies. It was hard to put them in order after #6, they all kind of blend. :D Lol, you might be surprised to see Rudolph and Frosty so close the the bottom, I guess I am kind of burnt out on them. Too many viewings. :D Although I am in love with the little kid on Frosty who when trying to decide a name for Frosty suggests, "Oatmeal!" :D If you have any favorites or question my selections, please comment. :D Here goes:

1. White Christmas
2. It’s a Wonderful Life
3. Mrs. Santa Claus
4. Miracle on 34th Street
5. The Wish that Changed Christmas
6. Santa Claus is Coming to Town
7. The Year Without a Santa Claus
8. The Santa Claus movies
9. The Christmas Shoes
10. Peanuts Christmas
11. Garfield Christmas
12. Snowden & Raggedy Ann & Andy
13. Barbie in the Nutcracker
14. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
15. Frosty the Snowman
16. Mickey’s Christmas Carol

Some of these may not be really well known, such as the Wish that Changed Christmas, its an old animated TV show that I fell in love with. I don't know if they even have them for sale, we taped it off of the TV years ago. Also Mrs. Santa Claus is a Disney musical starring Angela Lansbury that is fabulous! Snowden are Ice Skating/TV movie series, very cutsie-pie-ish. :D Lol how's that for a description!

Some other Christmas traditions we have are we always have Christmas Eve at our house. Usually we go have Communion at church, then come home and read the Christmas Story out of the Bible over cookies and Egg Nog. Dad has also semi-annually carved a new character out of the story, these are then used to portray the story.(see picture below)

On Christmas morning, we all have to go to my parents room to wait for everyone, I'm usually the last one up. :D We then head to the tree and in semi-chaos unwrap the gifts. Oh another thing we do is instead of leaving milk and cookies for Santa. We leave popcorn for our "Santa's", they seem to like that better. :D

I haven't even begun Christmas gift shopping, I'm always kind of a last minute gift-buyer. Not a good idea...anyway, I'd better get crackin'!
